We were born with a spirit of adventure that grew into passion for exploring unbelievable, impossible and amazing, in ways longed for by many yet pursued by few.
God moved us into the resort community of Mammoth Lakes, California to do a “snowboarder church” some ten years ago. We soon discovered that He was bringing the nations to us and along with them, a vision that rapidly became global. Lighthouse has become a movement, joined by a generation of adventurists traveling the world with a mandate for taking the kingdom of God into places few would ever consider.
In 1998 God called Pastor Dave & Stevie Nelson to start a church for young adults in the Mammoth Lakes area, little did they know that God had a far bigger vision for them to step into, and today Lighthouse has become a global church planting movement
The Lighthouse network stretches from Mammoth Lakes, California, to Wanaka, New Zealand, Flims, Switzerland and Maui, Hawaii, with friends and partners in Australia, Canada, Japan, northern Europe and even South Africa.
